Introduction:

    The presentation will consist of an overview of theoretical and practical communication skills and strategies in the context of American culture.  Specifically, it will delve into often over-looked communication starters essential for personal and business success.  It will then turn to a discussion regarding useful American idioms and expressions.  Finally, time permitting, the presentation will conclude with a practical debate exercise aimed at enhancing student’s oral communication and critical thinking skills.
